Henry Fuentes, MBA, CPA, ABV, CFE
Henry Fuentes joined Sax Macy Fromm & Co., PC (SMF) in 1996 as the firm’s Director of Litigation Support Services and Business Valuation. Before joining SMF, Henry’s previous work experience included a Senior Accountant position at Arthur Andersen, a controller in private industry, a partner at Hurler & Co. and management of his own consulting practice. With over 40 years of experience in the accounting field, Henry has significant business valuation experience in a variety of industries and engagements. His litigation support knowledge expands to commercial damages, fraud and embezzlement, accountants’ legal liability and forensic accounting among others.
Henry is a tenured graduate and undergraduate accounting professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he has taught for over 30 years. He also served as the Associate Dean in the College of Business as well as chair and member of several of the school’s committees. He served for a number of years on the NJSCPA Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee. Some of his speaking engagements include the National Law Foundation, NJSCPA and ICLE, as well as several in-house seminars for prestigious accounting and law firms. He is the recipient of the New Jersey Society of CPA’s outstanding educator award.
Henry is a New Jersey certified public accountant with a BS in Accounting and a MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV).
