Henry Fuentes, CPA, CFE, ABV
Henry Fuentes joined Sax Macy Fromm & Co. in 1996 as the firm's Director of Litigation Support Services and Business Valuation. Before joining SMF, Henry spent two years as a Senior Accountant at Arthur Andersen, five years as Partner at Hurler & Co., and eventually managed his own consulting practice. With more than 30 years of experience in the accounting field, Henry has significant business valuation experience in a variety of industries and engagements. His litigation support knowledge expands to fraud and embezzlement, accountants' legal liability and forensic accounting among others.
Henry is a graduate and undergraduate finance professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University as well as Chair and member of several of the school's committees. He is also an active member of the NJSCPA Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee. Some of his speaking engagements include the National Law Foundation, New Jersey Society of CPAs, and ICLE, as well as several in-house seminars for prestigious accounting and law firms. Henry has also written numerous articles which have been printed in publications like the Journal of Business Law and the Journal of Forensic Economics.
Henry is a New Jersey certified public accountant with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV).
