Joseph T. Shannon, CPA/ABV, CVA, CFE
Joseph Shannon is a principal with Sax Macy Fromm & Co., PC. He has over 20 years of experience in public accounting, serving a variety of business and tax clients in various industries. In recent years, he has focused his attention to the complex areas of business valuation and litigation support.
Joe has played a key role in more than 100 business valuations and has been accredited by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) in the area of business valuation. Joe has also been certified as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He has worked on valuation cases in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, professional services, retail sales, real estate, limited partnerships, construction, and family limited partnerships. His work in litigation support includes matrimonial matters, fraud and embezzlement, shareholder disputes and forensic accounting among others.
Joe is a graduate of Bryant College where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.
Joe is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, the NJSCPA Valuation & Litigation Services Resource Group, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
