Kathleen Alexander, CPA

Kathleen Alexander joined Sax Macy Fromm & Co., PC in 1988, and has been a principal in the firm for the past nine years, providing accounting, tax planning, and business consulting services to the Real Estate and Healthcare industries, as well as Women-Owned Businesses. Kathleen is also the Director of Training and Continuing Professional Education for the firm, and as an innovative thinker, designed a real estate training program at the firm to provide staff members with an opportunity to cultivate an interest, and eventually, a specialty in real estate.

As founder and Co-Chair of the Women’s Initiative Committee at Sax Macy Fromm, Kathleen recognizes the need to assist women who are facing challenging issues at work or home, as they make their way up the corporate ladder. Her mission as an advocate for women at the firm is to teach women to market themselves better; take advantage of the opportunities that are available at Sax Macy Fromm, and encourage a "work/life balance."

She has been an active member of the Tri-County Chamber of Commerce for the past eight years, and is a past Chairman of the Board. She was the recipient of the "Chamber Champion Award," for her support and dedication to the mission of the chamber. She is also the Chair of the Chamber’s women’s initiative, "Women to Women Celebrating our Success," a group Kathleen helped to establish for women in business to come together to identify networking opportunities.

Kathleen is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from William Paterson University, and is an active participant in the William Paterson University mentoring program. She is currently attending Fairleigh Dickinson University to obtain a Master’s degree in Taxation to better serve the needs of her clients.
