Todd W. Polyniak, CPA
Todd Polyniak is a principal with Sax Macy Fromm & Co., PC (SMF), and has recently been named the Director of Accounting and Auditing. Todd has been practicing in the field of public accounting since 1982. He has extensive experience providing accounting and auditing services to various commercial entities in the manufacturing and distribution sector, financial services, such as hedge funds and broker dealers, and not-for-profit organizations.
Todd has presented over 50 educational programs to professionals and to the public. He has lectured on various accounting and auditing matters for organizations such as, The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Continuing Education Program, and The State of New Jersey Department of Human Services, and Department of Education. In addition, Todd is actively involved in the training and education of clients and staff on the new auditing standards put forth by the Auditing Standards Board (ASB).
Todd serves as a Director on a number of not-for-profit Boards, including The Mental Health Association of Essex County, where he serves as Treasurer. He is also a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Todd is a certified public accountant, licensed in New Jersey and New York. He received his BA in Accounting with high honors, from Rutgers University, where he was named a Rutgers Scholar, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
