Mentor Program
Even Bill Gates and Donald Trump had mentors. And SMF is no different. We want you to succeed. The Mentor Program was designed to provide you with guidance and assistance throughout your career.
Mentors are trained to be effective advisors and confidants that are available to help you grow. Their primary goal is to help you to get the most out of every opportunity and to succeed. Your mentor will provide:
- Support
- Guidance
- Assistance
- Coaching
- Training
- Performance feedback
Every team member at SMF is assigned a mentor. The mentors are Principals, managers, and supervisors whom have been with the Firm for many years. They are responsible for meeting with you throughout the year to discuss goal achievement, professional development, performance evaluations, and any issues or concerns that you may have.
Goal Setting Program
In July of each year, every team member sits down with their mentor and identifies measurable and achievable goals for themselves. The goal setting program was designed to help communicate what is required of you in order to be promoted to the next level, and to provide you with milestone markers to help you gauge your individual progress.
