Audit Senior

The primary function of a senior auditor is to be "in-charge" of audit fieldwork as well as be responsible for all stages of an external audit.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Complete external audits from start to finish
- Prepare engagement staff members for audit fieldwork
- Plan procedures to be performed
- Train, supervise and evaluate engagement staff members
- Review audit workpapers
- Prepare and/or review financial statements
- Work with key client management to gather information
- Follow-up with engagement Manager/Supervisor regarding the status of the job
Requirements:
- 3+ years of recent auditing experience in a mid-size or regional public accounting firm
- B.S. Degree in Accounting; CPA designation preferred
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Experience supervising and training staff
- Must be able to travel (primarily locally)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Must have strong computer skills; knowledge of Caseware & ProSystem Fx a PLUS!
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work as part of a team and manage multiple engagements
