Financial Managers Forum

Running a business is very challenging and can create a sense of isolation. Every day, owners and their financial managers make decisions that have significant impact on the future of their businesses. Often, it can help to have someone to talk to, someone that can relate, and someone to share their insight. Recognizing this need, and in order to support top management, we have formed the Financial Managers Forum.

This select group of professionals meets on a regular basis to discuss the problems and issues that face financial managers every day. Acting as real advisors, they assist each other in formulating real solutions. The Financial Managers Forum is a professional development resource and typically offers a resource speaker or videotape on meaningful topics. In fact, two hours of CPE credit is usually available.

Participation in this forum will motivate financial managers in the performance of their duties, making them more effective and efficient. Each group is limited to 10 to 12 participants from non-competing companies. Discussion is broad-based on professional and job related issues having value to all businesses and represents an opportunity to share "best practices". These confidential meetings specifically exclude inappropriate sensitive financial information and each participant is asked to sign a confidentiality agreement.

A SMF Principal heads each group and acts as a facilitator, ensuring order, clarity and objectivity.
